From a sketch to a company

How a project leaves the studio, and what we mean when we say it can stand on its own.

Every project starts with a sketch and a small team. At each stage we ask one question: is this useful to anyone but us? If not, we change it or we stop.

We say a project can stand on its own when it has its own team, someone who really uses it, and a way to pay for itself. By then it has left the studio and become a company.

After that we run the company with the same care we built it with, and keep the door open for whoever wants to start a new project.
